Labor Law Poster Replacement Plan

Labor Law Poster Replacement Plan

Labor law posting requirements can change throughout the year as federal, state, and local government agencies issue mandatory updates. The Labor Law Compliance Center Poster Replacement Plan helps employers keep covered workplace postings current by providing replacement posters when a mandatory change affects content included in their plan.

Instead of continually researching poster changes and determining whether a new poster is needed, employers enrolled in the Replacement Plan can rely on Labor Law Compliance Center to monitor applicable posting changes and provide updated replacement posters when a covered mandatory change occurs.

How the Labor Law Poster Replacement Plan Works

Labor Law Compliance Center continually monitors federal, state, and local government agencies for mandatory labor law poster changes.

When a mandatory change affects a posting covered by your Replacement Plan:

  • Labor Law Compliance Center identifies the mandatory posting change.
  • We notify you about the change.
  • An updated replacement poster is provided for the affected location or covered poster.
  • Shipping for covered replacement posters is included.
  • Coverage continues for the duration of your selected Replacement Plan term.

Customers may select a 1 or 3-year Replacement Plan based on their workplace posting needs.

What Does the Replacement Plan Cover?

Replacement Plan coverage corresponds to the content included with the original covered poster.

For example, if your plan covers a State & Federal Combination Labor Law Poster, a mandatory change to a covered federal or state posting can trigger a replacement poster.

If your original covered poster also contains applicable city or local workplace postings, a mandatory change to one of those covered local notices can also qualify for replacement.

A newly required city or local posting that was not included in the original covered poster does not automatically become part of the Replacement Plan.

Why Use a Labor Law Poster Replacement Service?

Federal, state, and local workplace posting requirements can change at different times throughout the year. Employers with multiple locations may also need to track different posting requirements depending on where employees work.

The Labor Law Poster Replacement Plan can help businesses:

  • Reduce the time spent monitoring mandatory labor law poster changes
  • Keep covered workplace postings current when mandatory updates occur
  • Manage poster updates across multiple business locations
  • Receive notification when a covered mandatory posting change occurs
  • Avoid unnecessarily replacing posters when no covered mandatory change has occurred
  • Plan for poster updates over a 1 or 3-year period

Labor Law Posters Do Not Automatically Need Replacement Every January

Employers do not necessarily need to replace every labor law poster simply because a new calendar year begins.

The need for a new poster generally depends on whether a mandatory change has occurred to a workplace notice applicable to the employer. Our Replacement Plan is designed around monitoring these mandatory changes rather than automatically replacing posters solely because the year has changed.

Coverage for Federal, State and Local Poster Changes

Labor Law Compliance Center monitors workplace posting developments from federal, state, and local government agencies.

Replacement coverage depends on the specific content included with your covered poster and plan. Employers with locations subject to city or local posting requirements should select poster coverage that includes those applicable local notices when available.

Poster Replacement Plans for Multiple Locations

Businesses operating in multiple states or cities can face different workplace posting requirements at each location.

The Labor Law Poster Replacement Plan can help employers manage covered poster updates across multiple locations by providing replacement posters when mandatory changes affect the content included in each location's plan.

This can be especially useful for employers with offices, stores, restaurants, healthcare facilities, manufacturing locations, franchises, and other distributed workplaces.
