Description
San Francisco, Worker Protections Ordinance Labor Poster
The San Francisco Worker Protections Ordinance Poster was created for certain grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, and on-demand delivery services during the COVID-19 public-health emergency.
The ordinance required covered businesses to provide specific health and safety protections, including protective supplies, social-distancing procedures, contactless or sanitized payment options, contactless delivery or pickup where feasible, and paid time for workers disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
Important: San Francisco’s Worker Protections Ordinance expired February 28, 2023, and this poster is no longer a current posting requirement under that ordinance. This product should be considered a historical or reference notice rather than a current mandatory workplace poster.
Employers looking for current local requirements can review our California labor law posters and workplace posting requirements.
