San Francisco has been an updated with a 2024 Health Care Security Ordinance Posting that now dictates that employers must make health care expenditures on a quarterly basis for every employee of $3.51/hr for employers with 100 or more workers and $2.34/hr for employers who have between 20 to 99 workers. Employers with less than 20 workers (50 for non-profits) do not have to meet this requirement. Employees who make more than $121,372 a year or $58.35/hr are also exempt from this requirement.
