2026 Alameda, California Minimum Wage Supplemental Poster

The Alameda, California Minimum Wage Supplemental Poster from Labor Law Compliance Center provides the current local minimum wage notice for covered employers with employees working within the City of Alameda.

Effective July 1, 2026, the Alameda minimum wage is $17.76 per hour. The ordinance generally applies to employees who perform at least two hours of work in a particular workweek within the geographic boundaries of the City of Alameda, regardless of employer size.

The official notice provides information about the current local minimum wage, employee coverage, tips, retaliation protections, complaint procedures, and enforcement of the Alameda Minimum Wage Ordinance. Tips may not be counted toward payment of the required local minimum wage.

Covered employers must display the official minimum wage notice in a conspicuous location at each workplace or job site. The City requires the notice to be posted in English and recommends posting it in the second most commonly spoken language among employees when applicable.

This supplemental poster does not replace applicable California state, federal, or other local workplace postings. Employers should review all posting requirements that apply to their employees and work locations.
