City & Local Ordinance Labor Law Posters
Employers may be required to display city and local labor law posters in addition to federal and state workplace notices. Many cities, counties, and other local jurisdictions have adopted employment ordinances requiring businesses to post notices informing employees of their rights under applicable local laws.
Labor Law Compliance Center provides City & Local Ordinance Labor Law Posters for jurisdictions across the United States. Local workplace posting requirements may cover minimum wage, paid sick leave, fair workweek and predictive scheduling laws, anti-discrimination protections, living wage requirements, employee leave, workplace rights, and other local employment regulations.
Local Labor Law Posting Requirements
Local posting requirements vary by jurisdiction and can change throughout the year. Employers with locations in multiple cities or counties should review the requirements that apply to each workplace, since a federal and state labor law poster may not include notices mandated by a city or local government.
Our local labor law posters are professionally produced in-house and updated when applicable government agencies make mandatory changes to workplace posting requirements. Employers can use our Poster Replacement Plan to help keep workplace postings current when mandatory changes occur.
Employers with remote or hybrid workers can also review our labor law poster frequently asked questions for additional information about workplace posting requirements.
