Louisiana Earned Income Credit

Louisiana has updated its Earned Income Credit notice for the 2026 tax year. The revised notice increases the income eligibility thresholds, including raising the general limit from $61,555 to $62,974, with corresponding increases based on filing status and the number of qualifying children. The notice also features a redesigned format and updated LouisianaWorks branding. Employers should replace the previous 2025 notice with the revised 2026 version.

San Francisco, California Fair Chance Ordinance

As well as this ordinance applicability change, this notice now provides additional information regarding the employer obligation to notify the applicant regarding work background checks in specific scenarios.

Washington Immigrant Worker Protection Act

Effective October 1, 2026, Washington employers with one or more workers must display the new Immigrant Worker Protection Act notice where workplace notices are normally posted. The law informs employees of their rights when a federal agency conducts an inspection of Form I-9s or related employment records. Employers must also notify workers within five business days after receiving notice of an inspection and provide affected workers with the inspection results within five business days of receiving them.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Multiple Notices

Philadelphia has updated several required workplace notices. The Fair Chance Hiring notice now prohibits blanket exclusions of applicants with criminal convictions and clarifies which records employers may not consider. The Know Your Rights notice adds reproductive health autonomy and childbirth or related medical conditions as protected categories and expands its examples of prohibited discrimination. The Unpaid Leave for Domestic or Sexual Violence notice has also been redesigned due to revisions. Finally, the Discrimination notices have been updated with additional protected categories.

New Jersey Family Leave Act

New Jersey has revised the New Jersey Family Leave Act notice to reflect expanded employee eligibility under recent amendments to the law. The updated notice lowers the employer coverage threshold from 30 to 15 employees, reduces the employee eligibility requirements from 12 months and 1,000 hours worked to 3 months and 250 hours worked in the preceding 12 months, and updates the language regarding leave to bond with a child. The notice also includes updated contact information for the Division on Civil Rights, including a new telephone number and revised complaint language.
