Federal Contractor Minimum Wage Update: What You Need to Know for 2026
If you’ve been keeping an eye on federal contractor wage rules, there’s an upcoming update worth your attention. The U.S. Department of Labor has officially announced new minimum wage rates under Executive Order 13658, and it’s going into effect very soon.

City Specific Labor Law Recap
"Effective the 1st of January within the city of…", will be the theme for this article. Today we will be covering the numerous changes many cities across the country had to their specific labor law postings for 2023. California alone had 28 out of the 35 cities update their required labor law postings! Florida’s Minimum Wage on the Move
September 30, 2021, Florida's Minimum Wage will increase to $10.00 per hour.
On November 3, 2020, Floridians voted to increase Florida's minimum wage and approved Amendment 2. Under this amendment, Florida's current minimum wage of $8.65 will be increased to $10.00 on September 30, 2021. Each September 30th after that, the state’s minimum wage will increase by $1.00 per hour until it reaches $15.00 per hour in 2026.
